Garden catalogs

I gathered up my seed catalogs this morning....somehow I am missing a couple...Shumway's and Pinetree Garden Seeds.  I bet if I looked in Lauren's bedroom, I would find them, but I don't feel like risking my life in the pit today.  :)
I particularly like Baker Creek (all non hybrid, non-GMO, non-treated, and non-patented) and Seed Savers (for their work in the preservations of heirlooms), Bountiful Gardens (Safe Seed pledge and heirlooms).  Not that I don't like the others, don't get me wrong.  I order from them also.  Some feature items or seeds that I cannot find somewhere else, and I am not as opposed to hybrid flower seed.

I love sitting down with a stack of seed catalogs and circling and circling all the flowers I want. I wish I had enough room for all that I circle :)

@Catherine,
Isn't it the best to dream about the spring garden on a cold, dreary day? I love winter, but the catalogs keep the hope of spring alive!

I must pipe in and make you yearn for spring. The Pioneer Woman (Ree Drummond - I adore her blog!) is running a contest right now under her Photography section - best Flower photo. They're giving me spring fever, I tell you!

I have been getting my seeds locally for a number of years, and the seed catalogs don't come anymore. I hope my co-worker brings his Baker's Creek catalog to work today. I want to see about doing an order with him. I have been wanting to get some old fashioned marigolds going, that will reseed themselves. Maybe I'll find some other kinds of seeds that want to grow in my garden.

You sure have a nice assortment of catalogs. I may have to start getting some again.
