I have started to see the first Japanese beetles of the year this week. I really wouldn't be upset if they didn't come to visit. I must say that I like them best when I find them drowned in the pool skimmer. Harsh,I know, but true.

These things are a nightmare!!!! I went to Old Heritage today, and bought a spray. They are taking over my favorite tree in our backyard. It hasn't bloomed in two years because of those nasty things. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed spraying the tree and watching them die:)
