I am finally getting around to posting flower pictures from our trip to Yellowstone in July. I bought a book while we were there at the recommendation of a park volunteer called Wildflowers of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks by Richard J. Shaw with the hope that I could identify all of the species that I found, but I have found that it isn't all inclusive. After seeing all the flowers, how could it be? :) I had SO many pictures that I have to divide them by color. Yellows first....of course...

Oh, how I would love to see Yellowstone! I love that you have close up and long view pictures. What gorgeous country. The last flower growing in the rock(!) is amazing.
Pretty yellows and awesome landscapes! : )
Beautiful pics....Yellowstone is on my bucket list...one day i'll go!
Thanks!
Holley, the flower growing out of the rock was actually in one of the geyser basins. I was amazed at what beautiful plants and flowers grew out of such a harsh environment.
Yellowstone was easily one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen and would love to go again!
Great pics! I love Yellowstone. I think it's amazing that pretty much every flower I've grown in a garden grows wild there.
